Are there any parts of the service that still reference MXroute?
There are some. The truth is that if we want to offer the same service quality, we can’t prevent someone from diving in obsessively with the goal of finding out who provides your back-end service. Our outbound relays still use various domains, including mxroute.com. Somewhere deep in the email headers that almost no one ever reads, there may be a link to MXroute.
But consider that providing third party services to your customers is not at all unusual. Plenty of people provide SendGrid and MailChannels to their customers, why not MXroute as well? There are a ton of ways that you can add value with our reseller plans, including competitive pricing and ticket support (the latter being a big one).
