PreSale: Outgoing Emails Only

I’ve been using Elastic Email previously for client websites just for standard transactional emails from WordPress. We are talking like 5/day… not much.

Would MXRoute be an option if we use SMTP plugin? The thing is that it wouldn’t be the main email system for the client - just an add-on for outbound. I therefore couldn’t change the MX records of the clients.

Elastic Email operates soley from a sub domain with SPF records setup. Can I do the same here with MXRoute?

Yeah that’ll work fine. I’d recommend going into Email Routing in DirectAdmin after signup, and unchecking the box that says something like “use this server…” That way if you add a second domain on the account and try to send to the first one, it’ll know to send emails to it remotely rather than attempt local delivery (all servers deliver first to the list of local domains, and then remotely if the domain isn’t present or has been specified as such).
