Hi I am new to MX-route and to configuring mail. I have set up DKIM, SPF and DMARC and test mails send and receive ok ish but some end up in spam.
I am getting this message and also a similar one in mailtester saying that name@mydomain.com is not a permitted sender. What am I doing wrong please?
'spf=softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning does not designate 64.40.26.219 as permitted sender)
Have you set up forwarding of emails to a Google account?
Have you insured that your SPF record is correct? It should be:
v=spf1 include:mxlogin.com -all
If you’d be willing to PM me with your domain name as well as a link to the mail-tester.com result, I can advise more specifically what the issue is.
Hi Alento and thank you. It was my mistake! I thought I had copied the SPF from the welcome email but had actually used the one from the dns page in mxroute with just the one ip so have now corrected this and am waiting for propagation. Hopefully that will fix it. Thanks again.
