When I signed up I had to give a domain, now I cannot remove or change it. How do I do this?
The “primary domain” is a cPanel feature that we eventually hope to automate out by randomly generating it’s value, and then hiding it from your view. For now, however, this is simply a limitation of the front-end software that we use to make it easy and secure for you to manage your email settings.
Technically we can change the primary domain for you, but we prefer not to do this as it is not very productive. Our preference, for now, would be that you simply leave it in place. If you have decided to host that domain’s email elsewhere, simply go into cPanel, click Email Routing, select the domain, and choose Remote Exchanger. Otherwise, ignoring the domain in place and not worrying about it is a completely valid solution. You have no domain limit, after all.
