How can a user change his password?

Hi,

I was looking through the webmail clients but couldn‘t find any way for a user to change his password.
Is this not supported and only the admin can set a password in DA or did I overlook this setting somewhere?

Thanks,
Daniel

Great question! This is a bit of an undocumented feature but I should document it more. You would use the DirectAdmin control panel URL and add /CMD_CHANGE_EMAIL_PASSWORD at the end. So like this:

https://lisa.mxrouting.net:2222/CMD_CHANGE_EMAIL_PASSWORD
https://longhorn.mxrouting.net:2222/CMD_CHANGE_EMAIL_PASSWORD

And so on, for our DirectAdmin servers.

In addition to the method that Jarland mentioned, you may also change your password within Roundcube. To do so click on ‘Settings’ in the upper right, then on the next page there is a link to ‘Password’ in the left column. You’ll then be prompted to enter your current password as well as the new one that you desire.

Hi,

perfect, thanks a lot! It‘s working great.
