Can't forward to gmail

Hello.

I want my mailboxes to forward all incoming mail to Gmail. In order to do that, I have created a filter using webmail crossbox (because i did not find another way). But I am getting an Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender error.

This is the message:

How Can I forward all my incoming mail to Gmail?

Please don’t create unconditional filters (or using conditions that will absolutely be met by all inbound mail) that forward emails. If an email bounces the bounce forwards, which bounces, which forwards, which bounces, which forwards, and then breaks the entire outbound infrastructure by filling it with tens of thousands of emails in a matter of hours until I have to shut off your entire service after briefly disabling all outbound email for customers to stop it. You can create email forwarders via our control panel. Sieve filters are too literal for this job and automating protection against it would break needed functionality.

As for the error, it’s quite literal. Google doesn’t accept emails without a From header, which appears to be what you’re sending them in this case. If you’re certain that the From headers are in place in the email that is being redirected, use the Feedback tool in Crossbox to notify the developers, but ideally you won’t be able to test a fix because you’ll want to set up actual email forwarding in our panel.

Gmail does NOT want your forwarded mail. Your best choice is not to use Gmail for email. They block mail per their desires, not the end users.

If you still want to use Gmail then your best option is to use their Mail Fetcher, which will poll your account and download all emails into Gmail. You can also set Gmail as your email client to read and reply to emails.

A random web hosting company’s instructions to accomplish this may be found here:

I just reread your OP and noticed that you said this:

The better way, which may preserve the headers is to create a forward (alias) for your email. Which MXroute server are you on? The procedure is slightly different depending if you are on cPanel or DirectAdmin.

Absolutely. It’ll store and forward if you create a forwarder and a matching account.

Can I create email forwarders for emails that already have a mailbox?
