Can I forward email and also receive the email?

Can I forward email & receive it at the same time.

For example, suppose I am joe@mydomain.com, I would like email sent to me to both be stored in my mbox and be forwarded to, say, history@mycomain.com.

Yes. Create a user for joe@ and a forwarder forwarding the email to history@. Mail will be saved in both inboxes.
